Our Mission: Building Communities Rooted In Freedom & Family Values

Written by Team Veritas | May 22, 2025

When Veritas Village was founded, Andrea Martinez initially saw it as her husband Patrick’s dream—something she supported because it would shape their family’s future. But over time, she realized it was about far more than real estate. The company’s mission evolved into a shared calling for Andrea, Patrick, and the team at Veritas Village: to build intentional communities rooted in shared values and to help restore the cultural principles that once made the Western world a symbol of opportunity and freedom.

For generations, the United States stood as the ultimate destination for those seeking a better life. Its Constitution—grounded in Judeo-Christian values, individual liberty, and the promise of prosperity—drew people from around the world, including Latin America. Families flourished, children received quality education, and hard work was rewarded. But over time, these values began to erode. As society shifted, work often came before family, divorce rates climbed, addiction took root, and social movements, though appearing noble, were hijacked to serve political interests.

Andrea observed that marches promoting peace, tolerance, unity, and acceptance were often manipulated. Participants unknowingly served causes orchestrated by the very elites they believed they were resisting. Through this cultural war, those elites gained control of minds and families, distracting from true issues, fostering division, and expanding state dependency. Slowly but surely, many came to accept the idea that the government owns their lives and that dependency is not just normal but necessary. Andrea sees this as a foundational tenet of Communism.

As government influence expanded, personal responsibility and individual freedom deteriorated. Andrea believes this is central to socialist ideology: manufacturing dependency while breaking down the beliefs and values that create resilient families and communities. The change came gradually. Previous generations marched for love and liberation. Women were told to reject traditional roles in the name of empowerment, and men were quietly encouraged to walk away from family responsibilities through normalized welfare. Pride parades evolved into month-long celebrations of sexual identity. Bit by bit, lives became more entangled with state systems, and worldviews were shaped by media and Hollywood narratives.

Andrea often points to The Black Book of the New Left by Agustin Laje to explain how socialist movements have learned to manipulate the masses. Originally, the battle was framed as worker vs. corporate owner. But when that division lost traction, the focus shifted to identity politics—feminism, LGBTQ activism, Black Lives Matter, and more. According to Andrea, these movements, while claiming to promote justice, have worked to erode traditional Christian values by attacking femininity, masculinity, marriage, family, children, and even the unborn.

This realization was a turning point for Andrea. Once, she subscribed to the modern feminist idea that fulfillment came through career success alone. For years, she poured herself into work, sidelining marriage and family. But eventually, she felt empty. Like many others, she struggled with relationships and purpose—until she realized that real confidence comes from knowing who you are, what you stand for, and choosing a life of purpose aligned with your values.

Her faith was instrumental in this transformation. Andrea learned to trust God, release the illusion of control, and fully embrace her role in her marriage and family. This journey strengthened her convictions, even when they ran against cultural tides. One moment that shook her was the “Me Too” movement, specifically the “Believe All Women” narrative, which she saw as a rejection of due process. While supporting victims is crucial, she believes that abandoning the need for evidence has ruined lives through false accusations. As a wife, stepmother, and aunt to men and boys, Andrea could not stay silent about the dangers of that ideology.

But it didn’t stop there. What alarms Andrea and the Veritas Village team most is the growing ideological targeting of children—gender ideology, irreversible medical interventions, and the erosion of parental rights. For them, this is a direct attack on the family unit. It is also the core reason they are so deeply committed to building communities that protect and uplift foundational values.

At Veritas Village, the mission goes beyond beautiful homes and landscapes. The team stands united in their values:

  • A belief in freedom, paired with the responsibility to preserve the values that made Western civilization strong;
  • A belief in the importance of family and the innocence of children;
  • A belief in biological reality—male and female, equal and distinct;
  • A belief in free speech, religious liberty, and medical freedom;
  • A belief that men and women have equal worth but different, complementary roles;
  • A belief in open and respectful debate, without censorship.

These shared convictions led Andrea, Patrick, and the Veritas Village team to Latin America, where many communities still uphold and fight for family values. Increasingly, people from first-world nations are seeking refuge from collapsing systems, unstable environments, and cultural shifts they no longer recognize. These individuals are looking for places where they can raise families safely, live by their values, and build meaningful lives alongside like-minded neighbours.

For Andrea and the entire Veritas Village team, these values are not just part of a mission statement—they are the foundation of every community they build. One of the most rewarding parts of this work has been meeting so many others who are committed to the same vision. Their clients often become more than customers—they become friends, neighbours, and contributors to a shared way of life focused on freedom, family, and truth.

This is the driving force behind Veritas Village. Andrea, Patrick, and their team are not just developing land—they are creating a way of life that reflects their deepest convictions. And they are grateful for every person who chooses to join them in building something lasting and meaningful.
